The "Yukou Jingbai No.1" high-yield egg laying chicken breeding line is developed by Yukou Poultry Industry to meet the market demand for high-yield egg laying chicken breeds suitable for egg processing. It adopts a three line breeding system. In 2016, it was approved by the National Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Committee and obtained the certificate of new livestock and poultry breeds (supporting series). The new supporting system of "Yukou Jingbai No.1" has the characteristics of moderate starting age, high egg production, high survival rate, high feed conversion rate, strong adaptability, and good egg quality. The performance of the "Yukou Jingbai No.1" egg laying chicken set has been tested by the Poultry Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Agriculture (Yangzhou) and the pilot feeding in Shandong Province. The results show that the set can exhibit good adaptability and excellent production performance under the feeding environment conditions in China. The parents of the "Yukou Jingbai No.1" breed chickens have white and fast feathers all over their roosters, and white and slow feathers all over their hens. The "Yukou Jingbai No.1" product represents male and female chicks who are all white in color and can quickly distinguish between males and females. Male chicks have slow feathers, while female chicks have fast feathers; Adult hens have white feathers all over their body, compact head and coat, a single crown, yellow skin, beak, and shin, white ears and leaves, gentle temperament, delicate and small body shape, and produce white shell eggs. The main performance indicators of the "Yukou Jingbai No.1" commercial laying hens are: 325 eggs per day at 72 weeks of age, a full survival rate of 95%, and a feed to egg ratio of 2.0:1. In order to achieve rapid transformation of achievements and quickly gain industry recognition and approval, Yukou Poultry Industry has established a sound breeding system for "Yukou Jingbai No.1". It has established original seed farms and ancestral farms in Beijing, and parent farms in Tianjin.
