My main research areas are technology strategy, innovation policy, think tank science and engineering. I have presided over over more than 60 major and key decision-making consultations, policy research, and strategic research projects for relevant departments of the Party Central Committee, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission. I have achieved a number of influential decision-making consultation and theoretical achievements, and have received dozens of important instructions and reports from central leadership, promoting the formulation of policies, plans, and measures related to scientific and technological reform and development. In the practice of constructing national high-end think tanks, theoretical innovation and exploration of independent knowledge systems have been carried out. The basic logic system of think tank research, DIIS-MIPS double helix method, think tank science and engineering have been innovatively proposed and applied to guide think tank construction, which has been fully recognized by the national regulatory authorities and has had a wide impact in the think tank community at home and abroad. I have authored over 200 research reports, policy recommendations, and academic articles, as well as co authored and edited over 20 monographs.
