I. Background

With the development of the world economy, global capital is rapidly and closely linked together to form a globalized economy and capital market. At the same time, China's economy is developing rapidly, and the demand for Chinese private capital from overseas countries is increasing day by day. The time is ripe to guide international advantageous resources and projects into the Chinese private capital circle, and to guide Chinese private capital to the world.

In order to promote exchanges and cooperation between Chinese enterprises and European capital, law firms, investment institutions and government agencies, and through multi-level docking with European investment promotion agencies, consulting agencies and economic organizations, to discover and develop excellent projects with good investment potential in Europe, to introduce European high and new technology, to look for business opportunities for cooperation in Europe, and to jointly open up the investment market in China and Europe, we are hereby organizing the "2023 China-Europe Investment and M&A Industry Cooperation Matchmaking Meeting". The "2023 China-Europe Investment and M&A Industry Cooperation Matchmaking Conference" is hereby organized. Representatives of famous investment institutions in the fields of automobile, power battery, new energy, biomedicine, science and technology, high-end equipment and other fields will be invited to exchange and share their views, discuss the prospects of Sino-European cooperation, industry development trends, the direction of government regulation, compliance, and the integration of M&A and other related forward-looking topics, so as to provide advice and suggestions for the development of Chinese enterprises overseas.

        Introduction of the organizer

The Association of Chinese Lawyers in Europe ("ACLE") was founded on December 12, 2012 in Luxembourg. ACLE is a non-profit organization ("association sans but lucratif", A.s.b.l.) governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and currently has 107 members practicing in more than 16 European countries. They are from Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, the United Kingdom, Hungary, the Czech Republic, in-house counsel, WTO legal civil servants, ICC legal civil servants, as well as Chinese lawyers from various countries registered with the Law Society of Hong Kong.
